Michel Legrand is one of the most iconic figures in the world of film music. 3 Oscars and 5 Grammys, among many more nominations, clearly show it.
His connection to jazz is also self-evident, as he was himself a jazz pianist. However, also by the fact that his amazing compositions were arranged and played by many jazz musicians such as Bill Evans, Art Farmer and many others.
A selection of his charming music will be heard on July from the quartet of Dimitris Kalantzis.
