    nikolo fluteNikolos Dimopoulos was born in 1967. He started playing the piano at the age of 6 and the flute at the age of 12. Initially he played music with popular music groups. He studied flute at the State Conservatory of Thessaloniki with Tone Takahashi and Ilie Macovei in whose class he obtained his Flute Diploma in 1988. He continued his studies (1989-1991) at the Ferenc Liszt Academy in Budapest with Lorant Kovacs and Istvan Lang (Contemporary Music class). At the same time and afterwards he took an active part in master classes with William Bennett and Alexandre Magnin.
    He has given many recitals in various venues and cities and has performed as a soloist with orchestras in Greece and abroad.
    He is co-founder of the Kozani Classical Music Seminar and Festival (1989-2017) and the Agios Nikolaos Summer Flute Seminar (2006-2009), in the framework of which he has collaborated with renowned musicians of the international scene.
    Being an enthusiastic supporter of new music, he has performed numerous works in first performances. He has recorded a CD (irida) with works by Greek composers for solo flute and flute and piano which has been awarded by the Greek Critics’ Union (2009).
    Since 1996 he has been a member of the Thessaloniki Philharmonic Orchestra and teaches at the State Conservatory of Thessaloniki.

    Born in Larissa, Giorgos Tsiardakas began his musical studies at the Municipal Conservatory of the city, in the class of Mr. Ilie Makovei. In 1998 he enters the State Conservatory of Thessaloniki, where he obtains his diploma under the guidance of Nikolos Dimopoulos.
    He performs individual recitals, recordings and participates in various chamber music ensembles and orchestras. His intense artistic activity has earned him various awards, a scholarship from the State Scholarship Foundation for studies abroad and the position of associate member of the European Union Youth Orchestra and the Mediterranean Youth Orchestra, at whose auditions he has received special distinctions.
    In 2013 he obtained a university degree in flute from the Maastricht Academy of Music under the supervision of Philippe Benoit.
    She has attended numerous seminars including with Wissam Bustany, Lorant Kovacs and Samuel Coles.
    As a flute teacher at the Municipal Conservatory of Larissa, he has a special interest in teaching, aiming to highlight the importance and role of music education in the development of young children’s personality.

    Dimitris Dimopoulos studied piano with Toni Sakellariou and theory with Yannis Tsanakas at the Municipal Conservatory of Larissa, where he graduated with distinction.He continued and completed his studies at the Royal College of Music in London and later, with a scholarship from the Royal Conservatory of Music, at the Liszt Academy in Budapest. For a decade he attended performance classes with Roberto Szidon in Sion, Switzerland. He also studied with Peter Wallfisch, Gunter Lutwing and finally in Moscow with Lev Naoumov. He has been taught the classical chamber music repertoire by Thomas Brandis (violin), Yuri Bashmet (viola) and William Pleeth (cello). He is particularly distinguished, both in recitals and chamber music concerts and in concerts with orchestra, for the wide range of his repertoire, which spans more than three centuries of pianistic art, starting with G. Frescobaldi and ending with T. Murail. He has many first performances to his credit and many works have been written for him. He has recorded for the Greek, German and Spanish Radio and Television and has been awarded by the Association of Theatre Critics for the recording of works by Greek composers for flute & piano with his brother Nicolo Dιmopoulos. He taught piano at the Larissa Conservatory, the State Conservatory of Thessaloniki and at many summer academies in Greece and abroad, and from 1999 to 2021 he conducted the Orchestra of the Aristotle University of Thessaloniki. He was born in Athens in 1964. He grew up in Kozani, where he lives and works.
