    On Saturday, May 9, the musicians, Dimitris Hatzoulis (oboe-English horn), Stelios Kotrotsios (clarinet-bass clarinet) and Vicky Kakagianni (piano) join their powers to share with the audience their musical wanderings in Greece, France, Ukraine and Russia. Works by G. Konstantinidis (transcribed by P. Theodosiu), G. Hatzimichelakis, E. Destenay, Y. Povolotsky and A. Rubtsov will be heard.

    On Sunday, May 10, Giorgos Saratsis will present his poetry collection “Tenagos” from Telegraphos Publications. The collection deals with the insufficiency of the senses, the wounds of time, but also the return to the miracle of simplicity. “Tenagos” as an occasion for descent before the inevitable return. Our personal and collective quagmire as an attempt at reflection. At the climax of the presentation, the musicians Dimitris Hatzoulis (English horn) and Stelios Kotrotsios (bass clarinet) will present the work “Tenagos” by the composer Panagiotis Theodosiu, based on the poetry collection of the same name.

    Dimitris Hatzoulis was born in Larissa and took his first musical steps in 1980 at the Municipal Conservatory of Larissa in the clarinet class. In 1984 he transferred to the Oboe class with a scholarship from the D.O.L. and teacher M. Doroftei. During the period 1988-1994 he studied in the class of V. Ganef, receiving his Diploma from the D.O.L. with honors. During the three years 1995-1998 he will be in Athens, at the side of Ev. Christopoulos. From 1982 to the present he has been a member of the Larissa Symphony Orchestra, and has been a member of the Ioannina and Volos Symphony Orchestras. He has a series of collaborations and recordings with important musicians and conductors of the country. He is a member of the Woodwinds Ensemble “Ο ἦχος ωσ ἔχει”, giving many concerts in Greece and abroad. He taught at times in the Conservatories of Thessaly as well as in the Music High Schools of Mytilene and Larissa. He served from 1988-2025 in Military Bands throughout Greece and was commander of the Military Band of the 8th Military Band-TAX and the Military Band of the 1st Army.

    Stelios Kotrotsios was born in Larissa in 1974. At the age of 12 he started playing the clarinet and in 1995 he graduated with a diploma from the class of Kosmas Papadopoulos at the Modern Conservatory of Thessaloniki. He also studied with great clarinetists and took part in many chamber music concerts. She is a member of the ensembles “Enodeia”, “Antithesis”, “Ο ἦχος ως ἔχει”, and was also a regular member of the SONDL and the DOL Philharmonic. For many years he taught at various conservatories and music schools in the country. Since 1997 he has been a professor of the clarinet class at the Municipal Conservatory of Larissa.

    Vasiliki Kakagianni was born in Larissa. She completed her studies by receiving a piano degree with “excellence” and a piano diploma with “excellence” and 1st prize from the Municipal Conservatory of Larissa, with professor Zisopoulou Anthousa. In 1998 she passed 1st in the Department of Music Studies of the School of Fine Arts of the Aristotle University of Thessaloniki. She holds degrees in harmony, counterpoint and fugue with “excellence unanimously”. In the academic year 2020-2021, after selection exams, she was admitted to the postgraduate program in Musical Arts with a specialization in Musical Instrument Teaching (piano direction) of the Department of Music Science and Art of the University of Macedonia, from which she graduated with honors. She lives and works in Larissa as a permanent piano teacher and accompanist pianist of the Music Arte choir at the Music School of Larissa.

    Giorgos Saratsis is originally from Elassona. He is a gymnast, storyteller and radio producer. In 2012, he published the collection “You Will Leave at Night” by Farfoulas Publications, in 2021 the collection “Prosphoro Khoma” by Stixis Publications, and in 2024 the collection “Tenagos” by Telegrafos Publications.
