Norbert Bouche Quartet -Tribute to Django Reinhardt and Stéphane Grappelli.
The Norbert Bouche Quartet was formed in 2015 in Paris. The performances of the French jazz tradition, the music of Django Reinhardt and Stéphane Grappelli. Dividing their time between two countries, France and Greece, the quartet toured Greece several times, including 2 appearances at Djangofest in Athens.
The quartet is preparing an album for 2025, mixing their own compositions and standards from the swing repertoire. Next to violinist Norbert Bouche, Benjamin Blackstone’s guitar and the double bass of Panagiotis Charalampopoulos team up for an elegant result with dynamic solos. The quartet complements with the supple and virtuoso accompaniment by Jean-Pascal Molina on drums.
