The chamber ensemble “Solo-Tutti” of the Larissa Music School is celebrating its third year of existence with this specific name and character, constituting the continuation of the classical chamber ensembles that existed in our school for the previous 7 years. It consists mainly of classical string, wind and keyboard instruments with a maximum number of students of 20 members. Its main purposes of existence and action are, on the one hand, the knowledge and dissemination of the classical repertoire of chamber ensembles with a focus on baroque music, on the other hand, the assumption of responsible and soloist roles by the students, as well as the development of their musical perception and cooperation within the ensemble. The variety of timbres it possesses as well as its flexibility, gives it the ability to participate as an accompaniment in choral ensembles, but also to adapt, creating smaller or larger ensembles and adapting scores to its data, performing almost any type of artistic music. In the 1st year action with its new name, visited Rome presenting its work at the oldest Lyceum of the city, independently and in collaboration with the school’s MusicArte choir. In 2024, it presented the complete Christmas Concerto Grosso by Arcangelo Corelli as a cultural program in concerts inside and outside the school, while it appeared at the 5th Music Schools Festival in Rhodes that took place in early May 2025. In the same month, it appeared as a welcoming ensemble at the concert of the Panhellenic Network of Music School Teachers that took place in Larissa. The Music School teachers, Mrs. Rallou Tsikanderi and Kassiani Ritou, have collaborated with the ensemble in the past, while this year the piano teacher, Mrs. Antonela Poulouli, is collaborating.
The Ensemble’s Responsible Teacher for Preparation and Conducting is the violin teacher Mrs. Eleanna Vlitsaki.

Fotini Grampsa is an Honorary Graduate of the Department of Music Science and Art of the University of Macedonia, specializing in solo classical violin and a final year graduate of a master’s degree on the comparative analysis and performance of Edward Grieg’s violin works.
She is an Honorary Diploma holder in violin and Higher Theory. She works in the field of conservatory education, while artistically collaborating in various musical ensembles in improvisational roles of contemporary musical movements. She is a graduate of the Larissa Music School.
The Symphony Orchestra of the Larissa Music School continues the tradition of many years at the Larissa Music School, consisting of middle and high school students. The repertoire of the orchestra is not limited to works of classical music but extends to the modern era. Due to its multi-layered composition, the compositions it performs often require orchestral adjustments, additions and subtractions, which affects the result in an interesting way. The orchestra is taught by violin professor Alexandros Sdrolias and pianist and theorist Nikos Exarchos, who conducts it.
